"How did I get stuck baby sitting" asked Keir.
"Your lordship I think it's because you let him tell you what to do" said the cook. "Not to be disrespectful or anything."
"It's because he knows that I think of him more as a son and less of a warrior. I may have been young when I took him under my wing when I was barely older then him but he knows I'll take care of him and that's why he dose it" said Keir. "I am sorry I am rambling" he stood up. "Come along child."

Cara got up and fallowed him. "Am I ever going to see um Rafe again" she asked as she followed him to his tent.

"Yes you will child when he feels better" said Keir "But for now" he said as he walked into his tent that had a really nice bed with bear furs for blankets and even a separate room for eating or war meetings.
"Now right now I need you to go to sleep so that I can rest" he said as he pulled one of the baer skins off of the bed and laid it out on the floor. "I am going to sleep here and you get the bed." he laid down on the baer skin on the floor.

Cara got into the bed and closed her eyes while holding on to her dolly.

Rafe walked in that morning to find his warlord sleeping on the floor and Cara in his bed. He smiled knowing that even though he was called the war lord he was still far too kind.
The cook walked in and said "Rise and shine" he had brought breakfast.
"Look at that" said Rafe to him "He gives the bed to the child."
"Yes he was always strangely kind for a warlord" said the cook.

Cara sat up and said "When do I get to see my mother?" she had let go of her doll while she was sleeping and was looking for it.
When she found it she gave it a kiss and clutched it to her.

Keir had only rolled over and opend his eyes. "You don't." he said "We have no idea where she is and the plain truth is that if you don't find her when your older then you don't."
He sat up and the cook gaive him some food.

"Alright then you can keep her" said Keir "And if you actually do get her to be a warrior I will make sure that even if the queen doesn't favor you she'll act like she dose. Deal?" he held out his hand.
