[Okay, we can just imagine that some huge event happened, perhaps a rip in time and space, or even black magic or a voodoo curse, we can figure that out later. All we know is that most of civilisation has been turned into anthro-morphs, and most of them have lost their minds and all traces of human feelings and emotions, and gone on a rampage, making the world an empty shell. Though there are some who have kept their sanity, and that’s who we’ll be playing as, most likely.]
Everywhere was still, a once bustling high-street has become devoid of any life, except for a certain back alley, one who had remained after the great tragedy befell us...
Its eyes started to flicker open, then its blurred vision began to focus, even in the tiny amount of light there was available, it began wiping the dirt and embedded stones that were stuck on its features, and walked slowly out of the cramped alleyway into the wide open space of the town centre. Even here, it was difficult to see, nearly all of the shop windows were smashed and broken, and all of the grand logos; “McDonalds”, “Woolworths” and so on, were all darkened and desolate. In fact, the only light source that remained was the eerily large moon that hung in the sky, its light drowning out most of the constellations in the sky. The life form used the available light, and one of the few windows that were not smashed to catch a glimpse of itself, or rather herself. She definitely wasn’t human, white and orange fur graced her features, with stripes of black fur stretching in random directions across her head. She also had long black, messy hair with large pointed ears sprouting out of her head. Her fur was also messy, it was clear to her that she’d been unconscious for a good few days, or even weeks. Her throbbing headache also reinforced this fact, though that is pretty much the only thing going on in her head, no memories, no feelings; she wasn’t even frightened by her surroundings. She reached into the pockets of her jeans, and took out the contents – a few shining coins with a few notes of paper; she counted it up – £12.56. Disappointed at her lack of possessions, she placed the cash back into her pockets and started off down the street; looking for any proof that civilisation had indeed survived.

He slowly walked to where the road was at and began to fallow it. He was going to go to the city and find out what was going on. As he walked into the city no one was there and all the shops were vacant and decrepit looking. He heard a noise and couldn't see anyone he leaped onto a dumpster and then to the roof of a building he flattened himself out as not to be seen.

As he walked through the town he eventually reached the center of town where it was pretty much a wasteland. The only thing that seemed to have survived was the church.
It was getting late, and usually the ones that went wild after the incident come out. But no matter how much he hated christianity, he decided that he had to take refuge inside the church.
Inside the church it was full of dust and cobwebs everywhere. Broken glass from the windows on the floor, some of the benches were broken too.
He decided to sit at the far end of the church where they would usually baptise a child or someone. He unzipped his bag and began rooting through it for food which he had taken with him. Though doing this could endanger his life since the changed ones now have hightend senses and could smeel the food from a good distance away.
He decided to take the risk and began eating what was some simple ham sandwiches.

Her trek through the town centre was beginning to wear on her nerves, even if her feelings were scant and nearly non-existent, she was weary, hungry, and her pounding migraine was beginning to get old, fast. Although she'd only been walking for about fifteen minutes, the lack of civilization was drawing a conclusion in her brain; Humanity was facing extinction, she couldn't sense anyone nearby, even with her animal senses, so she assumed that she was one of the last intelligent lifeforms left alive.
Though this theory was proved wrong a few minutes later, as her nose began to detect the scent of fresh, spilled blood, with a hint of gunpowder lingering also. Refuge seemed to be the only escape from the overpowering scent, and the prospect of having to risk her life.
She did not want to fight, she felt it would be meaningless and troublesome. Besides, she needed to remain alive if she was to find the cause of this catastrophe. Behind her, was the large, impressive stone structure of a Christian church. If any place were to shelter her from evil rampaging monsters, this was the place. She pushed at the doors, which started to open slowly with a large creak.

Zacarias heard the creak and looked up.
"Shit!" He thought as he saw the tiger walk in. He decided that he'd better hide somewhere, he knew that there was a room in the back which he could hide in. though when he closed the door It gave a bang with the sound of bolts being locked.
He didnt know what to expect next. Would it come raging towards the door and begin slash at it to get in? Though he slapped himself in the forhead because he had forgotten to grab his thing before he lept inside.

Adrian noticed that the noises were not coming from a street they were coming from a building. The tension in the air was so much even thought there wasn't anyone that the could visibly see. He slowly got down and assumed that anyone he ran into was just as skittish as he was and most likely knew what was going on if they were in the city.
He got down and all four limbs and started to scurry down the street staying close to buildings according to his instincts. He held still for a moment. No noise had been made in the past few moments, maybe he had been wrong about people.

As the massive door creaked shut, her feline senses acted up, she heard another, smaller door slam shut, at the far end of the room. The tiger narrowed her eyes as she made her way to the front of the church, the eerie moonlight was casting through the remnants of the stained glass windows, illuminating the dust and cobwebs, and bathing the whole area in faint greens, blues and reds.
The part that took her interest though, was a section just in the darkness, she spied a fairly large bag, half open and tipped over, but the contents were inside. She also seen a clear plastic bag, with nothing inside it but a few crumbs and scraps of meat. This removed any doubt that her senses were playing tricks, somebody was here, somebody who was terrified enough of her to leave their belongings behind as they hid.
She sighed to herself, even if she did have a taste for human meat, somebody as cowardly and stupid as this doesn't even deserve the right to be killed by her claws. Even so, the feline was here to find some survivors, and that's what she was going to do.
Spying the only door that this coward could've escaped through, she kicked sharply at the level where the lock would be, and heard the brass locks bend and break though the force of the blow.
"Come on out, I do not want to hurt you."

"It talks?" He thought to himself. "This must be one of the ones that didnt go wild"
But still, he knew that he should be carefull around her. If she didnt want to hurt him, why did she break the lock? She could've just knocked and asked.
"Why should i come out? You just bashed the door open which to me means to want to kill me." He said as he kept his back to the wall that was near the door where he was out of sight.

She let out another angry sigh. She then turned around and sat ajar on one of the unbroken pews, as not to sit on her long tail. Thinking that force wouldn't be the best way to solve this, she simply gave this human a proposition.
"If you wish to escape, by all means do so, just do not expect to be able to survive."
She then leaned back on the seat and closed her bright green eyes.
"Or you could stick with me. It is your choice."

Folding his arms and looking up at the ceiling thinking to himself.
"I've been lucky not to encounter any anger out here so far, but she's right and i also could do with some company while im out here."
He unfolded his arms and came out of the small room and saw the tiger sat down.
"Alright, you win, you can tag along with me if you want to." He said to her as he fixed the bandage over this right eye which stayed hidden.

Aidan didn't know what was going on but he was sure going to find out! He fallowed the noises to the entrance of a big church where he believed some intelligent beings to be. He slowly opened the door trying not to make too much noise and not accomplishing his goal at all. He looked up to see two others in the building.
He held still and his tail twitched, "Do either two of you know what is going on?" he asked.

The feline climbed back to her feet, turning around to face the new arrival.
"We don't have any idea. But I suppose we should go and find out." She said, dragging the human standing beside her to his feet. As she begun to walk, she stopped and posed the question:
"Does any of you have any leads?"

Zacarias looked at her and raised an eybrow at her.
"You mean to tell me that you dont know anything that has happened? Hmm, I guess some of you changed ones lost their memories as well as any humanity."
"Well, Apparently a bunch of scientist where working on some sort of chemical that was to make people stronger and stuff. But in the chemicals was DNA from animals around the world."
He walked over to his bag and pulled out an orange bottle with "Lucozade" written down the side of it. Openning the bottle and drank from it.
"What happened next caused you two to become what you are now."

"Some form of chemical... that part seems familiar to me. I suppose our first step is finding someone who knows how it spread like this." She said, thinking out loud. She outstretched one of her arms and pushed open the heavy church doors.
"Keep your wits about you. I sense danger nearby."
